SA MENA Avionics is an appointed dealer/distributor for most of the civil avionics manufacturers and has commercial agreements with many key component producers, some on an exclusive basis.
The entire SA group is supported by a central logistic centre in Billund, Denmark. All locations are supported with equipment supply, rental / exchange, spare parts and other similar services through an on-line integrated computer system. System management, documentation, technical support, engineering and other services are directly available to all locations through the same channels.
The technical capabilities cover all areas of the avionics field such as equipment maintenance, system troubleshooting, system engineering, integration, certification and installation.
Supported traditional equipment include components such as Gyro, Instruments, FMS- Flight Management, Satellite Communication and Navigation, EFIS, Terrain, Traffic-Collision and Weather Avoidance, Special Mission, ADS-B, Data-link and other integrated and complex systems.
SA MENA also develops and designs extensive and complete turn-key avionics modifications including technical orders, certification programs, cockpit layouts, wiring and structural drawings, compliance records, load analyses, weight and balance calculations, ground and flight test procedures, continuous airworthiness, flight manual supplements, EMI assessments and other relevant documentation to perform and certify modifications of larger and smaller aircraft and helicopters.
SA MENA holds extensive experience with high speed, VDL Mode 4 and VHF Data-Link concept, which is one of the most advanced and promising technologies in the Future Air Navigation Systems.
The underpinning Scandinavian and German (LBA) civil aviation approvals are expanded into full EASA Part 21, 145 & 147 certifications.
